High Performance Part 1 – I watched this blueprints two times. It appealed to me because I have so much on my mind that sometimes i get distracted when speaking with people. “BE PRESENT” in the conversation. I now focusing on being more present and less distracted. Looking forward to the next part.

  2. Friday, May 18th, 2012 “High Performance – Part 1″
Brendon Burchard – thanks for sharing this today, I really enjoyed Brendon’s message.
    - What do all high performers multi-millionaires have in common?
They are present when it really matters.
    Brendon Burchard
    - “Live with PASSION!”
    - “Be Present”!
    Life’s Last 3 Questions
    1. Did I live?
    2. Did I love?
    3. Did I matter?
Did I really make a difference?
Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.
    ~Mahatma Gandhi

  3. Winning Attitude – Extremely overwhelming. Absolutely Amazing! I am so fortunate to have such an incredible family life so I can absolutely agree about how important it is to have your family life in order. If sacraficing your family is the price you have to pay to be successful in business it isn’t worth it!
Also be a leader, treat people with respect, courtesy and with compassion.
Finally the last 2 minutes of today’s blueprints was unreal! JUST DO IT

  4. Thursday, May 17th, 2012 “Winning Attitude”
    - Art Williams is great! I have read his books and listen to his words. His message is strong and clear what it takes to have the WINNING ATTITUDE and to be successful in business and our personal lives.
    - His message is strong clear: “Just do it”! And “DO IT”, AND “DO IT” AND DO IT!!!!!!”
    - First step in WINNING in business is TOTAL COMMITMENT. Very similar to marriage and important relationships.
    - Treat people GOOD. The only way to get the most out of people is to truly love them and care. In Corporate America or corporate Canada this is total opposite. Their philosophy is do not become friends with your employees as then you cannot manage or lead them,…BULL! Or as my Dad used to say BS. My Dad treated every person that ever worked with him with respect and in turn he earned their respect and they felt better about their work. When we lived in Iran, my Dad was in charge of about 10,000 men; they all called him Mr. Gord, and really liked and respected him. He introduced his family to many of theirs and we became friends. Many wrote to us long after we returned home to Canada and kept in touch for many years.
    - Make people feel special
    - Establish your priorities, most certainly I agree 100% with this.
    1. Put GOD FIRST
    2. Family second
    3. Business third
    - Great example Art gave of the difference between the person that earns $50K year and the person that earns $500K a year.
The Person that earns $500 K year is:
    - Willing to pay the price +more
    - Loyal to the company + more
    - Works hard +more
    - Can’t QUIT
    - To build the winning edge – Leadership is EVERYTHING
-Words of wisdom from Art – “Just do it”!!…”Do it!” and “Do it!” and “Do it!”
Thanks yet for another great message of what it takes to WIN!

When I was growing up, my father said something to me
I will never forget, “Son, when you were born, you cried
while the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a way that
when you die the world cries while you rejoice.” ~Robin Sharma

Who wouldn’t want this guy for a big brother/uncle/cousin/whatever at a BBQ! I love that, unlike a lot of “positive thinkers” out there, he gives practical, truthful advice that can be applied to any and every area of life.

  10. TGIM – Always a great way to start off my week. You have to be HUNGRY FOR IT! I am definitely working on setting my self up to WIN by having the right attitude, descipline, and work habits.
Monday’s are such power packed days with the Leadership call and Blueprints. Helps kick off for a successful week.

Friday, May 11th, 2012 “Stop Sabotaging Your Business Success”
    - WOW! This is great advice that we all I am sure know, however knowing and implementing daily are two different things, and is something we all want to strive for. Something we all really need to strive to do every single day, before our feet hit the floor and reflect every night where we can improve.
    - Being optimistic – The glass half empty or glass half full!
    - Great to do affirmations every morning, “I WILL have a more pro-active stance”. Do not let anything or anyone interfere with that, and as a mentor/coach of mine says, “DO NOT worry about what others say, do or think of you”. Do not spend one ounce of energy on those things that take you further away from your goal vs closer to your goals.
    - DISCIPLINE yourself to stay the course.
Your days are your life in miniature. As you live your days you create your hours, so you create your years, as you live your days, so you craft your life. ~ Robin Sharma

  14. Natasha and Cassandra says:

Accountability – creates consistency, reliability, helps develop systems which becomes essential in helping a business run smoothly, it becomes a habit, it is a learned habit and it passes thru the business from owner to employee and then creates great results such as efficency and then happy customers.

  15. Gloria Houghton says:

Thursday, May 10th, 2012 “Why Is Accountability Important”
Very interesting. Kind of similar to our WHY? and why it is important to know our teams WHY? It is much easier to hold someone accountable when you know it is what they want.
“Some favorite expressions of small children: “It’s not my fault… They made me do it… I
forgot.” Some favorite expressions of adults: “It’s not my job… No one told me… It couldn’t be
helped.” True freedom begins and ends with personal accountability.”
    - Dan Zadra

    - Amazing that one personal development program, pays out in massive dividends both financially and offering more value in the marketplace.
    - A coach/mentor can offer information to tweak your business if you are willing to reach out & be coachable
    - “You enhance your chances for success when you understand that your yearning power is more important than your earning power. ~ Zig Ziglar
    - “You were born to win, but to be the winner you were born to be you must plan to win and prepare to win. Then and only then can you legitimately expect to win. ~Zig Ziglar

  18. Limiting Beliefs, Stuff does happen everyday. An idea that you are certain about – BELIEF! This is talked about in every business model. Having belief in the product, company and what you are stiving for. Work everyday to grow your belief.

  19. Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 “Limiting Beliefs”
    So true, great points.

Thanks great minds think alike, I sent this out to my team quite recently.
I love Robin Sharma and he has more impact on me than probably any life coach. I am just finishing his book of many I will be studying all of his teachings for many years to come.
He has made a profound impact on my life. He is an incredible individual and everything he teaches makes sense.

  24. Natasha and Cassandra says:

Wow that makes so much sense. Really glad I watch Blueprints today. This might actually be a bit of a life changer for me… to each his own. This made sense to me.
Cassandra and I talked about this for quite sometime. We are similar in our ideals and goal setting skills. We both are going to implement this new concept. Amazing “you don’t know, what you don’t know.” Hmmmm?

    Rich Woman Kim Kiyosaki
Dan Sullivan is founder and president of The Strategic Coach Inc. There is a wealth of knowledge out there and
    - The gift of Personal Development. I love the fact that I thirst for knowledge. Blueprints is one of my daily method’s of operation and I have learned so much from disciplining myself to participate in my own self education. I also have been really apply the reading of 10+ pages of a good book EVERYDAY. It is really important to work harder on myself than on my business and not lose sight of this.
    - Setting and achieving Goals are so important.
    - It is so important to see your own personal progress toward your goals and compare your achievements thus far.
    - Always celebrate your accomplishments!
    - I like to always try to beat my own daily best!
“There is one quality which one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it.” ~Napoleon Hill

Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 “Effective Tips for Public Speaking”
Great tips today! Thanks Ken & Patti!
    - Put your best foot forward every time!
    - PLANNING
    - PREPARATION
    - PRACTICE
    - First impressions are important and very hard to change.
    - Take the time to pay attention to all of the 10 Key tips and make sure you are well prepared.
These skills constantly need to be fine-tuned and practiced.
My favorite course and book of all time I have studied was ‘Dale Carnegie – ‘Public Speaking and Interpersonal Skills ‘and the book ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People’.
    - Another really important tip I learned in this intensive course was:
    - Know your material very well. Pick topics that interest you and do extra research on your favorite topic to be fully informed. I learned this and was awarded by my peers in the 16 final week in Dale Carnegie course for: ‘Best Speech’ because my speech & topic was near and dear to my heart & I earned the right to speak on the subject matter through living it, studying it and putting into action what I learned.
    - My topic was: “What it took to raise my ADHD son as a single parent”. I lived it for years and earned the right and definitely studied the subject matter in depth, took seminars, attended parenting classes for support & had my son in different Learning centres & programs to learn all we could and to help him.
The subject matter of my son was without a doubt near & dear to my heart.
True, not everyone with ADHD has the IQ of Albert Einstein or the artistic genius of Steven Spielberg (both of whom dealt with the condition), but if you can imagine the world without the telephone, electricity, and rocket science, you can understand how different twenty-first century life would be without the many inventions, discoveries, and artistic masterpieces contributed by adults with ADHD.
How do I know that? I studied the subject matter for 23 yrs. and I am still studying & learning, I definitely have earned the right!

  29. Dave Tate says:

“TGIM” This guy is soooo inspiring ! It’s a good thing to get your focus out of the past, and into the future.
